I have been training personnel in Business English and English for Special Purposes since 1979. Customers include company managers and personnel, politicians, authorities, schools and colleges (see References for more details).

Courses are tailor-made to suit the needs of the individual or group. Realistic goals are agreed upon and specified at the start of each course.

I use up-to-date, authentic materials in English rather than textbooks whenever possible. Full documentation of vocabulary covered is e-mailed to participants after each session. Emphasis is placed on the practical use of correct and appropriate phrases in social, business and written information contexts. Active discussions and presentations are practised. Humour is a vital ingredient for relaxing participants, which increases learning as well as life expectancy!

Evaluation and follow-up take place continuously during each course. Adaptation and flexibility are seen as essential ingredients.
